Thoughtful Giving Day 2023 provides an incredible opportunity to match our nonprofit agencies with generous community donors for an end-of-the-year drive.
Please join us to explore our funds an make a year-end tax-deductible gift to one or several of the participating organizations. Representatives from the non-profits agencies will be on hand to answer questions and receive donations.
Donors come to the event and make a donation, or make an online (website and app will be made available}, to one or several of the participating organizations.
$45,000 of general match money made available will be distributed to funds based on a percentage basis. The more each fund receives, the more of the match money the fund will receive.
For example: Fund X receives 50% of the overall total donated money = 50% of the match money
Fund Y receives 25% of the overall total donated money = 25% of the match money
Fund Z receives 10% of the overall total donated money = 10% of the match money
Donors will select which organization fund(s) to support. 100% of their donation will go to the organization’s GSCF fund. All donations will receive the prorated match, up to a maximum of $2,000 per charitable organization per donor. For example: Jane Doe makes a $2000 donation to Organization X, $2000 will go to Organization X GSCF fund and Organization X will receive a prorated match based on the full amount from GSCF. If Jane Doe makes a $2500 donation to Organization X, the prorated match from GSCF will be based on $2000 of that gift.
The Patterson Family Foundation has offered JCCF a grant for $70,000 that will shared with our non-profit funds IF we reach $70,000 in general donations!!
A total match pool of $115,000 is available!!
