Kanza Mental Health Jackson County

Goal: $5,000.00

Specific Need

Hello Jackson County supporters,

I hope this message finds you all in good health and high spirits.

Kanza Mental Health & Guidance Center, Inc. continues to provide a full array of behavioral health services, including 24/7 crisis response, at our 510 Kansas Ave., Holton office. We are actively hiring for more positions in this office location and in the county to be able to reach more people in Jackson County who are in need of community mental health services.

Many of you know that our office location is the old Holton hospital building, and with age comes necessary repairs, so that those who visit us can feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. The Kanza Mental Health Foundation is seeking your financial support in which funds will go directly to the replacement of the old limestone retainer wall that is supporting our foundation along the 5th street sidewalk leading into the city square. It is 82' of limestone and is crumbling apart. It will be beautiful and solid once the project is complete. It is projected to cost $22,000, and we do not have further financial contributions outside of the Community Foundation.

Any amount of support will be much appreciated to help us bring this project to a reality!

Thank you for your support and contribution.

Sincerely,

Jackie Feathers

Chief Executive Officer
