Mission

The Royal Valley Alumni Association's purpose is to enrich, engage, and connect alumni through social and written communications, events, and fellowship. The RVAA strives to support past, present and future students by contributing to the growth and success of Royal Valley USD 337.

Profile

The Royal Valley Alumni Association was established in 2024 and after a full first year, we are ready for even more to come in our second year! The Alumni Board worked hard to build a strong foundation and connect with students, alumni, and the community.

Thanks to the 2024 Jackson County Day of Thoughtful Giving, we raised over $2,000. We also received about $1,200 in matching grant money. Our online giving portal made it easy for people to support us. We also raised $300 to buy coffee for the seniors at the school coffee shop! Buying seniors coffee was a way to celebrate our graduates and encourage future alumni association membership.

RVAA also got busy building community. We participated in several activities that included football games, a basketball game, the elementary school field day, Senior Signing Day, and Pride of Hoyt Days. Additionally, we worked with the Royal Valley high school business class so students could design and print our alumni T-Shirts. Also, we helped RV staff connect with alumni for career day events. Finally, several Royal Valley alumni reached out so they could get contact information to promote class reunions.

We are already planning more great things! Our first alumni event will be on June 6, 2026, and a special planning committee is already working hard on the event. This winter we will launch a student scholarship to support graduating seniors and any Royal Valley alumni seeking additional education beyond their high school diploma.
